Days of Heaven

The fact that it's dark by 5 pm really throws me for a loop. I must say, however, that Dusk or Magic Hour as it used to be known by cinematographer/DPs is still one of my favorite times or the day (second favorite being Dawn...which I seldom see).

One of my favorite films that utilizes the Magic Hour is Days of Heaven directed by Terrence Malick with cinematography by Nestor Almendros and with a score (also one of my favorites) by Ennio Morricone.
